This is a terrible excuse for entertainment. Simultaneously boring and sadistic. I was excited to see a show featuring a black cast, but thought the storyline would be a lot more nuanced, realistic, and intelligent. If you want to see black people being treated horribly by nothing but evil white people, this is your movie. I noticed several of the five star reviews were based only on the trailer. After the third episode, I skipped to the last just to see if anything improved, and was equally disappointed. Storyline: Black family moves into an all white neighborhood. Every-single-white-person in the neighborhood tortures them daily. Every single white person is condescending, mean, and virulently racist. It comes to a pointless conclusion, with no redeeming elements whatsoever.
