Beware of possible overdose with this bottle cap
I have been eating stevia for years. I love it. I started purchasing this bottle from Amazon and whole foods several months ago and loved it. I use about 1 bottle a month. I started getting really bad physical symptoms that landed me in the hospital with a $36,000 hospital bill. They thought I was having a STROKE!! Thank goodness that I wasn't! When I got home I was still feeling terrible and started looking into stevia, since I put in on everything. This bottle, when turned on its side to pour out, gives you a HUGE amount. The recommended dose is 2 drops, but each time I used it, I was literally pouring out .10 ounces or more. I found out that there is an actual overdose amount which is around 2500 milligrams. I was literally using about 10,000-15,000 milligrams a DAY! All the symptoms that I had in the hospital are side effects of stevia. These include: numbing, low blood sugar, dizziness, and many others. I stopped drinking stevia on Sunday, and feel better than I have in months. The numbing is gone and so is the dizziness. Now, I am not blaming stevia for this, but you need to be aware that there are many side effects, I am looking at this bottle, to get two drops out of the hole is impossible. This bottle cap needs to be remade and there needs to be warnings on the bottle of the possibility of overdose. Please read the bottle and look at the warnings of stevia before you use it anymore. I had no idea that it was dangerous, because everybody says it's healthy! Now I know.
