Only works long enough to "Hook" you... then craps out.
Edited 2/28/2018: I changed the review from 5 stars (great product) to 2 stars (SHORT LIFESPAN) due to the motor on this product not being satisfactory. I have reached out to the supplier to see if there is a "fix", but I'm assuming "no" because the return window is now closed. Just a warning to future buyers - BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. I'm not here to tell anyone what to do, rather explain my personal experience. I (clearly- read below) liked this thing while it worked. But I'm not keen on paying $100 for a make-up product that only works for 12 weeks. I'd WAY rather spend $200, $300 even $500 for a compressor that works for a couple of years. I guess I need to do a bit more research and due diligence, and purchase a compressor that will last. Unfortunately, I got this anticipating using it to do my wedding make-up, but alas, it didn't even make it that far... I love the airbrush make-up so I will definitely be looking for a new set-up; I'm just leery on purchasing Art of Air, again.
I just started using airbrush make-up using this thing and WOW is it awesome! I have been using it for about a month to really get a feel for it before reviewing, so I feel pretty confident in giving it 5 stars. The first, about 3 times, I guess, were a bit rough and I'm pretty sure I had a day or two of walking around like an oompa-loompa while "discovering" my shade, but after a few determined attempts, some trial and error, and *Thank God* for the Amazon reviews, I finally got the hang of it and have been raving about it for the last couple weeks! Not to mention actually getting quite a few compliments and having people notice a difference. So the grand test was using it to apply my make-up for New Year's to attend a black tie event. I wanted to test it's durability more than anything, since I plan to use it later this year for my wedding make-up (yay!). Again, thanks to the blessed reviews, I knew to use some setting spray, which I did (Urban Decay's All Nighter, if anyone's interested - works well with the make-up) and it worked like a DREAM! My make-up looked almost exactly the same as when I left the house about 10 hours earlier. I have always had terrible skin issues so I am more than elated to find something that has good coverage that is truly long-lasting and doesn't cake. Honestly, when it applied properly, it really does all it says it does. I guess the biggest piece of knowledge I could pass on the makes a world of difference is to allow it to dry properly before adding more coats or contouring or using the blush (which I don't care for, btw). And also to allow any moisturizers, or if you use the primer (which I do) to dry before putting it on. That simple advice will go a long way on your first few attempts! I have never tested any other systems so I can't compare it to anything else, but I really like this one a lot. I just ordered myself some more foundation now that I know my shades!
