I think the idea is great, if it worked that is. The app consists of showing two "pointers" a blue dot, which is supposed to be showing the current location of the finder and a square which represents her profile (in our case a picture of her). I just dropped my daughter at the school bus, and at the beginning, i could see the blue dot moving along with the bus, and the next minute, it refreshed and all of the sudden the blue dot was showing to be at home, at the same time it is also showing her profile at some random address several miles from school. On the other hand I also think is too bulky for my 5 year old to wear, it really doesn't help to place it in her backpack because she doesn't take the backpack on field trips, I also think that in the event of abduction this device dangling from her clothes would be too obvious. Another annoying thing is that when you register the device in the website, it doesn't tell you anything about the monthly fee, I learned is 13 dollars based on other reviewers here. The website pretty much just tells you to enter your billing info, no information of what or how much you are paying for. In our case the battery lasted less than 20 hours after a full charge. I don't think this is nearly enough time. This really is useless, so its going back.
