These charges have fried >60 new eneloop and Lenmar batteries. At first, I thought these charges were the best charges I've ever owned and gave them a stellar review. I bought 2 back in April despite a small ratio of bad reviews and used every charging bay/slot several times a week (every week) since I purchased them - thinking they all worked properly. But, the SunLabz charger has fried more than 60 of my new AAA & AA eneloop & Lenmar batteries. No, I didn't leave them on the charger too long. And yes, I've tried to refresh and recharge them. I've even tried charging these batteries on my old chargers. The most any of the 60 will now charge is ~20%. I won't pretend to know how or why these chargers kill batteries, but THEY DO KILL BATTERIES. The chargers are relatively quiet and didn't heat up (just got mildly warm). The batteries did not feel hot during charging. So there was no indication the batteries were frying. These chargers were dedicated to my business. That is, their usage was very controlled. I only used these chargers for my biz batteries and only charged my biz batteries on these chargers (I use TONS of AA & AAA batteries for my business). I took them on the road with me, operated them at numerous locations, on both battery sizes by different brands. Most telling, I had ~25 Lenmar batteries that were a few years old and still performing perfectly, as well as ~60 new ones (Lenmar & eneloop) - and they ALL (new & old) started crapping out within a few weeks of each other after using these charges consistently for several months. The drain and refresh function no longer works on these fried batteries either. Now, when I install ANY of these batteries into the SunLabz smart charger, their respective LCD charge indicators flash for a few minutes, then go blank. I move the batteries to different charge terminals, they flash for a second, then go blank. No error - just blank. I check them on a pro battery tester and they show to have adequate conductivity but ZERO power. I've ensured they are fully seated into the charge terminals (it's easy to think they're in there but still require a push to snap them into place), and I've cleaned the charge terminals properly. There's no question they kill the batteries. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
