I loved this product...until I was made aware that there was a warning for lead consumption on the back. What I have learned since discovering this is that the lead content in spices such as turmeric and paprika has been found to be very high, due to farmers overseas actually putting lead onto the plants in order to reduce the appearance of imperfection. This is different than naturally occurring lead counts. I highly suggest My Kind Organics version of this, as they specifically note on their website that they are in accordance with prop 65 (a regulation requiring any company who sells products to Californians to include a warning label on their product if it contains dangerous levels of certain chemicals, such as lead). I have found that a lot of the mixes like this that are sold online have this warning on them. In general, when buying golden milk or turmeric, I suggest ensuring that the brand you are purchasing from is nationwide (so that you know the product is being sold in CA and therefore has to make you aware of dangerous levels of chemicals) and ensuring that this label is not on them. After much searching, I landed on My Kind Organics Golden Milk. Best of luck!
