I bought this product because I’m mainly a PC gamer but most of my friends are on console so for some multiplayer games I still play on PS4. Being so used to Mouse and Keyboard, I found making the move back to controller felt incredibly unnatural. I thought for ~$30 it’d be worth giving this a shot. It does technically work, but it’s really not worth using. Even being used to Mouse and Keyboard, using this felt even less precise than a controller. If you’ve ever used mouse and keyboard for gaming on PC, this feels nothing like that. The best way I can describe it is that it feels less like you’re controlling the game with the mouse and keyboard and more like you’re controlling a controller with the mouse and keyboard. I know that probably doesn’t make sense but it’s the best way I can put it in words. The cursor movement isn’t smooth like on PC, it feels more like joystick movement. If you’re interested in this for the precision of mouse and keyboard in shooters, it’s probably not for you. To be honest, I really don’t know who it is for. I will say that setup was ridiculously easy. It took all of 15 seconds to get working. I didn’t experience any noticeable input latency while using it, either. The controls just didn’t feel as smooth as I was hoping.
