do I own a dog sled team? Because the amout this rug sheds suggests that I do. Have you ever owned a husky? Or perhaps visited a home where a large white fluffy dog lives? One dog can shed enough to fill every nook and cranny of your house. Having this rug is like owning an entire dog sled TEAM! This rug is taking over my life! It sheds SO much, that my entire family has white fuzz on our clothes, in our hair, on the furniture, filled up in my lint trap of the dryer, in the air, in our food, in every drawer, fuzzy dust bunnies in every corner and under every piece of furniture. It's consuming my house, I'm wasting entire days pickin fuzz off everything, sweeping, vacuuming...it is taking over my life! The first day we got the rug, we unrolled the rug and it was my pride and joy of the house! How beautiful is this rug! Great color! Neutral, creamy off white...blackish, brownish diamond stripes....soft but not plush. Just perfect! It is a bit smaller than 8x10...more like 7x10. We bought a skid mat to put under the rug. It is thin, floppy, not stiff. The smell was a bit chemically but faded over time. So we then vacuumed.....and vacuumed, and vacuumed. No matter how many times we vacuum, it would always fill our vacuum canister to the point of overflowing within 2 minutes. On certain days, I have spent over an hour straight just vacuuming, then emptying the canister, then vacuuming, then emptying...repeat, just to see if it was possible to get to a point where it stops shedding. Well, IT DOESNT! I'm pretty sure this rug will shed until there is nothing left. I am SO sad because this rug if almost perfect in everyway...except for the shedding. Also I paid $400 for this sucker.
