So, I hate to leave such a negative review. I loved the rug initially, aside from tons and tons of never ending dust/carpet fibers. I sweep and dust much more often... however, I liked the look of the rug with my decor. At first. 9 months later, however, it’s coming COMPLETELY apart. I’m adding pictures of the areas that are coming undone. I’m almost wondering if we got a defective rug, because these are NOT high traffic areas where the rug is walked on much. We had to move the end of the rug up underneath the couch because it was fraying so badly, but now the side of the rug is doing the same thing. I still can’t figure out how or why this is happening because no one even sits in this area where their shoes might begin to fray the rug. I’m super disappointed. We don’t have an enormous budget, and I was really excited to have a nice rug for such a good price, and now it already needs to be replaced. I wouldn’t suggest buying this rug, unless you’re only going to look at, or it’s going in a space that’s mostly unused. My mom has owned multiple rugs in this style, and I’ve seen hers wear, and not nearly this severely, after several years - not months. I’m typically really happy with the Safavieh brand, but not this time.
