Motor Burned Out On Third Use
I received this item for Christmas and was very pleased with the first two runs. A smoothie, then cream of broccoli soup. Worked great. I was just making cream of potato soup, with it less than half full with boiled pieces of potato (falling apart boiled) and three cups of chicken stock. There was no reason for this to be a tough blending job, but it was. After about 55 seconds I smelled that electrical burning smell and then smoke appeared. It's life has been lived and I will never own another one. Great idea and was/would be a wonderful addition to my kitchen, however not this brand. Greatly disappointed.
