We've had construction work going on directly outside our window for months. I've been using the silicone gel type of earplug for a while, the kind that forms to the shape of your ear. I was tired of those gathering dust and needing to be replaced, so I bought these Loop ear plugs as a permanent solution. They barely make a difference in sound. They are comfortable and they stayed in my ear overnight, but they are basically useless. So while they look and feel good, they do not serve a purpose.
