This was a cheap USB hub that I was using to connect a hard drive, printer, and keyboard to a laptop. It worked great for about a month, then I noticed the hard drive started disconnecting randomly (A terrible thing when backups are running). Well this morning, about a month after I bought it, it just died completely. I have it velcro'd to the desk, so it doesn't move. Wear and tear is definitely not the reason for this, It just died.
