Had Potential
The good:
This glass is complex (but not difficult) to install but for good reason - it adheres amazingly. The glass and adhesive are quality. It deflects fingerprints well which is an attractive thing for me. I applied this glass to my fiancée's phone first while mine had the Spigen Thin 360 case and glass. While that glass is great for the money, it didn't handle fingerprints well. As far as with cases, I am using the Spigen Thin 360 and it fits amazingly hardly any space at all between the case and glass edge. My fiancée is using the spigen tough armor. It also fits well but there is more space between the edges.
The bad:
I bought the two pack because my fiancée and I both bought Note 9's. The first one I applied got bubbles whether it be from dust that snuck by me or defect but that was disappointing for the price point. The second one applied flawlessly and beautifully.
The ugly:
Whitestone has a lifetime guarantee on these and replaced the defective one free of charge. They even waived the shipping fee so kudos to them. I just finished applying it to my Note 9 and was disappointed to have bubbles...AGAIN. However, against the instructions, I pressed the bubbles out and they went away. So now it is fine. I really just think dust was settling on the screen before I could apply the glass so just be mindful of that when applying.
9/6/18 Update:
Only one day after applying the replacement, weird air pockets have started forming at the bottom of the phone (see 2nd image) this is just a hassle now and not worth $60 we paid for it.
Update 9/11:
After 2 of 3 installs were bad, I requested to have the shipping fee waived on one more try. Whitestone refuses to waive it on their faulty product and I refuse to spend another cent on this product. Do not get this product unless you want to keep paying $10 shipping for replacements!
