BE SURE TO READ THE FULL REVIEW Initial review: Excellent product. Most other T2 docks only have 2 USB3 ports. This one has FIVE! So far, all ports work perfectly. Plug and play on OS X Yosemite. Follow up after 1 week: Still excellent. Running 2 spinning hard drives, printer, DVD recorder & Fitbit receiver off USB 3.0. Monitor off HDMI. External speaker. Ethernet. Adding SSD thunderbolt tomorrow. Works perfectly. If you want a TB dock, this is it. Follow up after 6 weeks: Still running perfectly. No problems at all. Follow up after 6 months. The audio out jack intermittently stops working and the only way to fix is to unplug the dock. After several emails, I have returned the unit to OWC for replacement at a cost of $16.00 to me. It has been 3 days since they received the unit, and I have heard nothing from them. Since I use this dock for multiple external hard drives, as well as other peripherals I use multiple times a day, this is an extreme inconvenience. Lowering my rating from 5 to 3 stars, based mostly on customer service. Hopefully they will send me a working unit soon. Final Review: They are returning the same unit. They could not duplicate the problem. They have had the dock for six days (promised 1 to 2 day turnaround in their email). So for an extra $16 I got to spend two weeks without dock, and will receive the same defective dock back. I thought Other World Computing was supposed to be a good brand. I bought this specific unit because of the two year warranty. But was reminded that a warranty is only as good as the people behind it. I would not buy this dock again. I would not recommend that you buy it.
