The primary character in this book is supposed to be a college professor, yet she's one of the stupidest people in print. The author tries to explain her nonsensical behavior by saying that she is naive, but smart is always smart even if it comes with a touch of innocence. What a waste of money. The premise of the novel sounded interesting, but the badly written characters just ruined it. Plus, there's really not much of a plot. All of the characters are unlikable. How this book managed to get published, much less a series of them just baffles me. Poor taste all around.
