On the plus side, it definitely has better sound quality for music than my cheapo $18 bluetooth earbud. For voice, I didn't notice much difference. On the minus side, a lot of issues. - First the microphone appears to be broken for the left earbud I received. - Also people said my voice sounded far away and bit muffled. - If you don't put the earbuds in the case exactly correctly, which is not easy to do, they don't charge. - The earbuds inexplicably dropped audio twice without warning, even though I was within 3-8 ft of the device I was connected to with a clear line of sight. - I downloaded the JBL headphones app and upgraded the firmware on the buds. But I found the software extremely finicky and difficult to use. Also while on a call one cannot switch between "Talk-thru" and "Ambient aware". When I did set it to "talk-thru" before a call the software would stop highlighting the "Talk-thru" button and would not confirm that the earbud remained in "talk-thru" during the call. - The touch control feature on the buds was highly temperamental and difficult to make work. - When listening to audio on my phone in the "Talk-thru" mode the audio listening volume kicks down to a low level and can't be increased very much if at all. This seems to be a software glitch of some sort. - The earbuds have poor noise isolation and people I was talking to could hear ambient noises around me very well, even when I tried to set the earbuds in "talk-thru" mode beforehand. - Although I adjusted the size earbud tips that I used, it doesn't go into the ear very deeply and I had issues with getting the earbuds to stay in my ears. I switched to using third party flanged tips that helped with that issue and increased the noise isolation a bit but impacted the sound quality of music somewhat. Disappointed since I had spent a bunch of time researching my bluetooth earbud options and had hoped for better. Giving up and returning.
