That is rust!
Water + Iron + Salt (add electricity to speed up the reaction) = RUST!!!
What you are feeling from this can only be attributed to placebo. I am a psychologist and yes the placebo is very strong and the explanation why many "scam" product pretend or seem to work!
Test for yourself...first time with no feet...then you will see!
