The so-called hero is a man who kidnaps a girl who has nothing to do with what he is mad about and plans to sell her to a serial killer who tortures women until they die & he knows this. His 2 chums help him confine the girl. I got the the part where he doesn't sell her to the serial killer after all, and then, it's all supposed to be romantic. But... he's kidnapped her and terrorized her & we're supposed to think is now all a-OK because he changes his mind about the serial killer? A disgusting premise & not romantic at all. Never going to even look at another book by this author, because this is just not my type of thing at all. I feel tricked.
