Way over stated CFMs, way to short power cord, poor lid/latch design, cheap tiny hose. Overall, not worth the cost. I also purchased the Ridgid WD4070 last week which states airflow at 100cfm. If this Shop Vac claims 175cfm, it should be very noticeable difference. No chance! Not even close this is 175. LOLz. Way too short power cable. Why? Just why? The lid latch does not secure the top to the can properly. So if you're vacuuming saw dust, for example, the lid does not make contact with the can properly and you're moving this vac around, guess what, you now got saw dust coming out of the can where the lid and can meet. Poor design. It needs a rubber gasket to ensure full contact on both surface when the latch is locked. Basic product design. Go back to the drawing table. Smh. Overall, I'm keeping my Ridgid 4070 - it has a lifetime warranty.
