I see that other people love this speaker, but I can't get over the fact that the sound is bad... dramatically worse than some $5 speakers I purchased at a discount store. I simply can't recommend that anyone spend over $10 on these, and even then it's probably best to just stick to your in-device speakers (if your device has them). PROS: * Smaller than your fist * Rechargeable via USB (cord included) * Bluetooth - easy to pair * Has a plastic ring on the bottom that isn't quite sticky/tacky, but DOES give it fairly good grip (e.g., for your car dashboard, as long as it's relatively flat) * Easy to travel with--no soft/bendable components on the outside, comes with a travel pouch, would easily fit in a purse or (big) pocket CONS * The sound is really quite tinny. At one point I switched back and forth between this speaker and the built-in speakers of my iPod Touch (4th generation), and the difference was BARELY noticeable. This speaker was a teeny, tiny bit better, but certainly not enough to be worth the hassle (or cost), and if I'm honest, nowhere _near_ as good as the sound of my $5 travel speaker that I bought at Target during the holiday season * Ergonomics are super-annoying. I don't know who decided to put the POWER switch in between "volume up" and "volume down," but if you turn it up three notches and decide to take it back down one, there's a high chance you'll bump the kill switch in the middle, which means you'll first have to turn it on again, and then find your physical device to hit "play" again (since many devices automatically turn themselves off when an external speaker is disconnected). So a straightforward attempt to adjust the volume can cost you about 45 seconds of hassle and play time If you have no other choices and no built-in sound on your device, this one _does_ work. But I'd strongly suggest looking around for alternatives.
