This definitely one of those you get what you pay for things ~ cheap price for something cheaply made. They don't seem particularly sturdy and as others have complained you can't properly close these if you come anywhere close to the amount of paper it is officially supposed to be able to hold. I ended up taking one end of the elastic band that is supposed to hold it closed and threading it through the hole that was attaching it to the back of the folder so that only one side of the band was still attached and then looping the loose end around the button in the front in order to get it to close. I regret not buying one of the more expensive options ~
