I bought this, so I can start listening to CDs again. And it does a good job with that. The sound, once you get above level 5 becomes, clear and louder. Making 1-5 seem low and muffled. I can look that over. I was sent the wrong stereo the first time, so I didn't want to go through a return process again. But now, two months later, the bottom line of the display stopped working. Making it difficult to even know what it's trying to tell me. That, I'm not thrilled with at all. I don't normally write reviews, but at $200 I absolutely did not expect these issues at all. Not within the first few months of ownership. Update: it has stopped playing CDs now. Which was the main reason I bought this. Don't buy this.
