I couldn't be more humiliated. I knew when I opened the packaging that it wasn't going to the BEST quality table but I thought it would get the job done. The bag was super flimsy and made of what felt like a thick paper but eh, the table seemed alright. I WAS WRONG. Today I had a 250 pound client come in, it was her first massage and she was a little nervous but excited to relax. A few seconds after I put her in the room to undress and get on the table I heard a loud crack. She asked me to give her a minute and when she let me in, she had tears in her eyes and I saw that the wood in the table had broken in half. IN HALF! I'm absolutely mortified and so was she. This is literally every LMTs worst nightmare...and it happened to me today. No matter what I said about the table being faulty and poorly constructed she blamed herself and her weight. PLEASE do not put yourself through what I'm feeling right now. Spend the extra 50-75 dollars and get a better table. The description says it's rated for 450 pounds but there's no way. On top of this probably costing me business, my clients self esteem is bruised and battered. I've learned my lesson as far as cheap equipment goes, learn from my mistake. I'm going to go crawl into a hole and never come out now.
