Belt buckle broke completely after a week. I could not get it to come off of my pants due to the buckle piercing the ratchet strip that holds the strap in place. Close inspection reveals this is a soft material that would not stand up to high stress under any circumstances. Poor quality product that I wouldn't pay $60 again for. I didn't even get a chance to put it through the ringer... it stopped working just walking around the city wearing jeans. The leather of the belt doesn't seem like it would last very long but I never had a chance to REALLY test it because the buckle failed so quickly. I don't think a $60 belt should EVER fall apart much less fall apart in one week! I am 165 pound 6 foot 1 inch male in case anyone was wondering. UPDATE: Added photo. Purchased new belt from Allen Edmonds. Much better leather and a buckle that stays in place. Called the sellers for a replacement but never received a call back. I'm now returning the item before it is too late and getting my $60 back!
