This was my first UGG purchase. I have always wanted to purchase a pair, although I could never justify the cost. I would purchase cheap boots with a similar look and they would not last. I purchased these boots last Christmas, from Amazon, for $160.00. I have only worn them less than 10 times within the past year. Last March, 3 months after purchasing them, I went to pull the boot up and the outer sheepskin layer ripped. I thought, maybe I should send them back? I can't believe this. My husband thought, let's just bring them to a taylor and have them just sew the area. So we did. Like I said, I have only worn these boots a handful of times. They are extremely warm, comfortable and cute. However, I am not sure if it is the 3rd party I received them from, that perhaps these aren't authentic UGG boots? or just the poor quality that I have been misinformed of. It is so unfortunate! The area that ripped initially has since ripped again, and looks HORRIBLE! Also, now the sheepskin on the left boot is coming apart from the sole of the boot. I cannot wear them, they are just embarrassing to wear, and it has been too long to return them, I imagine. The point I am making is that I have only worn these a handful of times. In my opinion, people should know that this seller's boots do not last. My sister has multiple pairs of UGGS that she wears constantly, has had them for years, and NONE of these things have happened to her. These boots are extremely expensive to have to continue to purchase. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. :-(
