This pole saw is fantastic. Granted I have not had it more than a few months. But so far so good. I will say it is heavier than I expected, and frequently I use it with the middle section out, so not so long (I am a 72 year old woman BTW). But it cuts like a dream. You must keep a close eye on the oil, as it uses a lot if it. I wear out before the battery does; so it last plenty long for me. I am guessing for normal homeowner use, this is perfect. Amended May 15: I have not used this saw more than 6 or 8 times for not more than 15 minutes per time. The chain will not stay on. Period. It is unusable. I have had it to my tree man who uses gas powered saws every day and he cannot make it stay on. This too expensive to be useless after just a few uses. June 1: I have contacted Greenworks by email, and no answer. What a shame.
