Well, these were perfect at first. (I liked my first one so much I ordered a few more.) They had just the right shine, were very comfortable, and looked great with the pendants I paired them with. But after about 3 weeks, I threw them out. I am a teacher, and as we began school, we had a heatwave. And some misty drizzles were in the air. I’m not a person who sweats much, but with the extreme heat and humidity, and no air conditioning in school, even I was a sweaty mess. I wore the perfect outfit on the first day, along with my new chain. I greeted my new third graders, parents and administrators, not knowing until I had a chance to go to the restroom that my neck was completely black!! Talk about humiliation! This has never happened to me before, even with costume jewelry picked up at Kohls or TJ Max, etc.. I don’t know if it was the rain, the heat, the sweating, but I threw them out never wanting to take a chance again. I guess it was my own fault for expecting a ten dollar chain to be great. I won’t bother to return because I didn’t save any of the packaging. If you’re planning to buy these, be careful-don’t wear them to an important event. Update....Well I was very surprised to get a package in the mail today. I had ordered and received these chains over six months ago!! After reading my review, I received a box today with a lovely letter of apology and FIVE new chains. Besides the apology, the letter gave me lots of good information about how to care for silver, and jewelry in general. I am so impressed with the customer service, and genuine apology, that I am going to give these another try, and give some to friends:) Maybe it was a fluke on my part, or a combination of circumstances. So, give these a try!
