I watched videos on youtube of the GoTouch being used and thought that it would be the perfect little device for the classes that I travel around to teach. I have used Mimio and Smart Board devices before and I know that they aren't perfect but the GoTouch took quite a while to setup and get working at all and then I couldn't get it to work consistently. I wouldn't even try to teach with it. The frustration would just be too much. So here is my experience. I received the first GoTouch and it was a lemon. It wouldn't even charge. I used the cable that came with it and tried different chargers but no dice. I tried resetting it and even changing the modes as instructed in the online manuals. I was able to connect it with the wire one time and tried out the pen which only activated half the time when the tip was pushed. The IR light in it wouldn't always turned on. So I sent it back and received another one. I wasn't going to give up on it yet. It seemed like a promising idea and I really wanted to make it work. I received the second one and it charged right and the pen worked every time. I was stoked. I was able to make the bluetooth connection to the GoTouch very easily. That part worked well. I set up the GoTouch and calibrated by screen which was also pretty easy. I tried connecting to my TV via Chromecast and my Roku but there was a half to full second lag when using the pen. This isn't necessarily the GoTouch's fault. So I connected my laptop directly to the TV with a HDMI cable and it helped with the lag. I thought I had it all figured out. But the pen was constantly off on my TV screen. No matter how I moved the GoTouch and set it up time after time the pen would be close to where it needed to be but not right on. I couldn't circle something because it would circle the item next to it for example. Also, often times when I lifted the pen and moved to a different area the GoTouch would connect the lines between where I lifted the pen and set it down next. Sometime it would skip while writing. There was no consistency and it was very frustrating. I gave the GoTouch two legit chances and was very disappointed.
