I bought this at Best Buy this morning... Went on a walk once I got it set up. GPS was right on, it tracked my heart rate the whole time and it seemed pretty accurate! Only bad was the screen was hard to see in direct sunlight! I will try this gear fit 2 tomorrow for my Zumba class. Then on Sunday go on a treadmill run... I will update my review once I use it a few more days! I can tell you my first impressions are that the Gear fit 2 is going to be a good fit for my active lifestyle! Update #1... The Samsung Gear Fit 2, pretty much sucks when it comes to counting flights of stairs. However, I am okay with this, because I still wear a fitbit One that does track stairs great! On another note, when running or walking on the treadmill, it does not calculate mileage at all. Update #2 ...I am a bit disappointed in this tracker. When you use other workout, for like an aerobics class or for lifting weights, this tracker will not show your heart rate, only the elapsed time. This is a huge downfall.... I mean, really, this is a fitness tracker. Why can't it have a Cardio setting and a strength setting. *I may be returning this and go back to a Garmin product. Update #3... I returned this fitness tracker... My main reasons for returning were the following, I walk/ run outside a lot and I was unable to get used to pushing the button to turn on screen and then not being able to see the stats of my run, plus swiping to get different info on my run. Next reason, was the heart rate monitor was okay, but during my exercise classes it told me my heart rate was 225, now I am a 44 year old woman, and that is not a possible heart rate for me. Now, I am aware that optical heart rate monitors are not as accurate as chest straps. One more thing I didn't care for was the S health app, it does not sync to other apps I use at all!!!!!! I have gone back to a Garmin product! They just offer so much more for a serious exerciser like myself! Now, I do believe this tracker is perfect for a casual exerciser!!! It really was comfortable to wear and sleep with, and the screen is just gorgeous!!
