After using the unit for less than two hours in mid-level humidity, the P1 light came on saying that the unit needed to be drained. The only way to drain it was at a plug at the bottom of the unit meaning that there was no way to get something safely underneath it. Besides, am I supposed to get up and drain the unit every two hours!! I contacted tech support and was told that I could attach the hose, and it would drain, but to where?? The window?? (The manual said to a drain or sewer!!!!). The hose they sent me is less than two feet long. Poor design to say the least. and even could be dangerous to drain with the water spilling out everywhere. Very disappointed and will return the unit pronto!!
