NOT absorbent.
I ordered these flour sack towels along with the Flour Sack Towels Commercial Grade 28in X 29in (12-Pack). The Aunt Martha towels are nice, and have a convenient little hanging strip, but they simply don't absorb anything. The Aunt Martha towels just sort of push water along the counter without absorbing any of it. The Flour Sack Towels Commercial Grade 28in X 29in (12-Pack) are MUCH more absorbent and efficient.
