Be advised that IT DOES NOT WORK ON CARPET!!! On hardwood, tile and indoor/outdoor carpeting it's fine, but not on short, medium, or plush pile carpet. One would think that they would not have to ask whether a vacuum at this price point works on typical carpeting. It's so disappointing that right out of the box I was instructed to remove a part so that it might work on my carpet. IT STILL DIDN'T! With a design flaw so serious, I don't know how the product was cleared to be sold to the public. I returned mine and I would not consider purchasing another Dyson if this is the company's accepted practice. Buyer beware!!!
