Was thrilled to invest 3-4x the price of a normal plug-in to get my first Dyson product, figuring they have the credibility to overcome the laws of physics and create a cordless, lightweight, fully functioning vacuum. Felt totally scammed. -Says 60 min battery life right on the box. More like 10 min on a full overnight charge. -I get more actual work done around the house with my $40 cordless B&D dust buster on a full charge. -IMO, the V10 suction was not that impressive, even on max setting. So if battery life extends to 20 or 30 on low as some other 1-star reviews say, I don't care. It's marketed as 60 minutes of fade free power PLUS great suction. Marketing 60 min of battery under some loophole assumption that you leave it on low setting and walk around the house slowly not pulling the trigger but half the time is going to create pissed off customers. -warrantee doesn't cover loss of battery life over time. So what starts at 10 min is going to 5, and Dyson will not support that. Read reviews that they basically don't back up their product. -They are spending money marketing this - saw it in Wired magazine. Billboards around my city. Not sure pushing a product like this is good for the Dyson brand. Because of this slimy experience, I'm never buying any Dyson product again. -5 stars for Amazon providing a no-hassle return experience.
