For regular printing I use a laser printer, like everyone else, but I needed a scanner and occasional printer for the few times I needed color. This is a normal cheap ink-jet printer, pretty bad print quality, slow and cheap - which is ok since that's what I expected for the price, but the software that's needed for this is a joke. To begin with the 123hp.com site wasn't working - I tried it with three different computers until I gave up and just downloaded the file directly. After that between confusing attempts to force you into their insta-print nonsense and trying to install tons of stupid software on every computer I own I started getting Amazon replenishment mail. Absolute garbage, maybe there's still an ink-jet out there made by a compony that's not trying to shove cartridges down your throat, but this isn't it.
