Not reliable or accurate! Do not buy this thermometer
We tested this out on our baby and got a wide range of temperatures, first 102.3, then 103.2, then 101.4. We called our doctor and of course they sounded the alarm and had us come in to double check the temperature, and it was normal on their machines - 98.5. They were so worried about the readings we got at home on this piece of junk they made us go to the ER, where they again tested 5(!) completely normal temps while the braun was still way off. 6.5 hours later our baby had blood drawn, a catheter in him, and was in no way sick or feverish. We got completely f’d by this horrible product, please do not buy it.
