We purchased this safety belt for pets along another similar item from another seller. We paid $5.98 for it about two weeks ago. With my surprise it shipped directly from China. When I tried it with great dismay I was not able to release it. The buckle is very thin and a dull metal. It went on easily but it is not released from the seat belt receptacle. It has a lot of movement inside the receptacle, such that you can move it right and left and up and down but you cannot extract it. I contacted the seller describing the problem and providing them with my car information (2000 Acura Integra). Their response was that the safety belt works for my car model and my seat belt is defective. That is just a ludicrous explanation. My seat belt has never had a problem. I am providing photos that show how the safety belt looks inserted in the receptacle, and a photo that shows how much thinner the safety buckle is when compared with that of my Acura. I have no idea how much it will cost me to have this harness removed so that I can regain my seatbelt. I would gladly return it but for obvious reasons I cannot. And I will never be able to because today my dog chew right through it. Hence, I have no use whatsoever for this contraption, and I am left with a seatbelt that cannot be used. Buyers beware! Incidentally, the other pet safety belt looks more similar in thickness and metal quality to that of a car seatbelt, however I am very dubious about trying it yet.
