Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I purchased the SE edition, in the hopes that it wouldn't have the background noise issues many reviews complained about with other models. Nowhere, that I am able to see, does Amazon state this item is non-returnable. If I had known this ahead of time, I would not of even taken the chance. When the item arrived, within minutes, all sound types started making vibration like background noises keeping me from sleeping.If that wasn't enough, I wasn't able to select refund when I tried to return it. A $117 item, that is a normal electronic. I contacted Amazon via web chat, I was transferred twice before someone was willing to help me. The first rep didn't even tell me I was being transferred (rude!). The third rep told me it was a non-returnable item. WHAT? I see nothing stating this. Luckily she was kind enough to issue the refund as an exception. Amazon needs to start stating, in clear large print, on the items detail page, if it is non-returnable. We need to know this when making our decision on a purchase. Yes, they have a section about certain items being non-returnable; however, this is a normal electronic, which is not even in that list.
