Absolute Disappointment
I bought this as an upgrade to my Yeedi K650, which is a fantastic vacuum, but the random-wander cleaning method on it is terrible. I wanted this one because of the mapping and the self-emptying station. Unfortunately, the mapping is disappointing and the self-emptying station needs special bags, which isn't really mentioned anywhere. Those two issues aren't the main problem (though it'd be nice if the mapping system could differentiate between my kitchen and my living room based on where the carpet changes to linoleum). The huge problem with this vacuum is the wheel power. The K650 is a beast, sometimes forcing its way through, and up, things you don't want it to. I've seen it go up a folded cardboard box I had propped up at an angle as if it was a skater in a half-pipe. This new one though can't even make it from the hard floors of my bathroom and kitchen to the carpet without me pushing it. It can't even make it into ITS OWN RECHARGING STATION without help, even though the charging station has ridged grooves for the wheels to grip. Update 1: After having this thing longer, it's clear the hardware on this thing is decent but the software is bad. On the plus side, that means it could get better by programming. On the minus side, it probably won't. But that's about the robot itself, not the base station. The station is supposed to work by vacuuming out the contents of the robot's dustbin, but it can't even do that simple job as can be seen in the photo of the dustbin immediately after it had allegedly been emptied by the station. Update Aside: I was contacted by someone claiming to be from this company offering to pay me $30 to delete my negative review, just so you know.
