Read the reviews on Philips website as well.
Just like others that have given low stars, the unit stopped charging just shortly after two years... right after the warranty expired. How can you justify charging 200.00 for a tooth brush that's only going to last two years and not standby it. Its not as if its running 24 hours a day for two years straight. Nor are we, the consumer, using it in any way that's not recommended. All you can do is turn it on, brush your teeth, let it turn itself off and charge it when needed. If this isn't the norm than take care of your customers that are having this experience.
Update: I should also state that Phillips rejected this very same review that I attempted to post on their website. How ironic.
