I haven't tried the microphone yet, as I purchased for a photo shoot. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the item though. I expected it would be plastic (because of the price), but the plastic coating was chipped and peeling right out of the box! I mean, come on...if it's not gonna sound amazing it should at least look amazing. I have other Pyle microphones and am super pleased with the look and sound. This was a huge disappointment. I'd send it back if I didn't need it this week.
