First time ordering Honest Tea online as I usually just get it at the supermarkets. But saw that it was for a much lower price so decided to give it a try, without even reading any reviews. When I first received and saw it, it looked a bit weird and off. The color of the drink was way darker and thicker than normal. Figured maybe the drinks have been sitting in a warehouse and the tea just settled in for too long. Didn't think anything of it until I drank it and it tasted ROTTEN. Went to look at the other drinks (came in a case of 12) and saw that there was molding of sorts on every single single drink. Afterwards, I read many other reviews that this was the case on many orders. Suspect that it is either a bad batch or maybe a knockoff or imitation of the real drink. Placed a return on the drink, and Amazon stated they'll replace it free of charge. Awaiting on arrival of 2nd shipment to see if it's the same. If it is, will return and never trust buying it online again. Will update when 2nd shipment comes and after a quality assurance check of drink. Update: Received new shipment about 3 days later. Had no issues with the new shipment. Compared the 2 and there was a significant difference between the bottling and the color of the tea. Not sure what the issue was but there needs to be better quality control in place as I see several newer reviews than mine that state the same thing.
