We purchased this Dec 2014 and let settle for 72+ hours. The instructions state to let settle for 24 - 48 hours without putting any bedding/sheets on it so we did this, and didn't sleep on it for 3 nights as well. We were happy with delivery and initially the packaging as it's easy to move (albeit heavy) and it's quite brilliant how it fits into the boxes. Unfortunately, after letting settle there is a clear firm cross feeling underneath the mattress that expands from top to bottom, left to right....if that makes sense, almost like a pyramid. I'm guessing it's because of how it's packaged, but it hasn't corrected and I don't foresee it correcting as it is very noticeable. The 4 corners also seem to be weaker allowing our feet and upper body to sink more into it. Imagine laying down and having a pillow propping you up near the bottom of your back as well as having difficulty being able to roll over because of a lump down the middle of the mattress....very uncomfortable. My wife and I thought that if we slept in it a night or 2 it may adjust more, but after sleeping in it the first night we both woke up and said it needs to go back immediately since both of our backs hurt. We also both wear fitbit's, which tracks sleeping patters, and both of us had one of our worst nights of sleeps in a long time. I know there are a lot of positive reviews for this product so clearly this is just an anomaly, and normally I wouldn't leave a negative review, but this is what we experienced personally and being this is the first mattress we've purchased in over 12 years to say we are disappointed would be an understatement. I can't imagine returning this is going to be easy as you cannot re-roll the mattress into its original box and finding someone to contact for instructions how to do this seems to be near impossible. The directions say to review paperwork to show how to return, but there is no paperwork attached showing this. Really not the stress we were looking for around the holidays. I hope whom ever purchases this doesn't have the same issues as it's a great price (and I noticed the price was just lowered again) but personally after this experience we will never buy a mattress online again. I will post again to update our return process and the difficulty/ease of this process.
