★☆☆☆☆
Unrealistic and incredibly predictable
I was originally attracted to the concept advertised for this show. A group of young women stranded on an island after their plane crashed. However, that advertisement was a lie. The first episode mostly tells one girl's story leading up to the "accident". We see all the women on the plane eating cake then later see them awakening in very convenient positions and vomiting cake. If that's not enough to make you realize there's something fishy going on then the show goes out of it's way to make it plainly obvious before revealing at the end of the first episode that yes, this is all an elaborate plan. *Shocker* What's even more unrealistic about the first episode is the fact that a teen girl spends the entire episode talking to two strange men about her first sexual experience as an underage teen with an older man. There's nothing that especially endears the strange men to this young woman so the whole conversation is rather unbelievable and eyerollingly awkward. This series would have been more interesting if it had stuck with the premise advertised instead of making it unnecessarily complicated with an obvious overarching plot. These are great actresses and I want to care about these characters but the plot ruins it.
