So far, the controller is indeed batter than the Razer solution and I actually returned the Razer back to Best Buy. A main attractor for me buying this was the 3-month game pass ultimate promo. Backbone botched this big time. On one support channel it sounded like I'd get the 3-month no matter where I ordered the Backbone. Once I got it, I was sent a 1-month only code. Whatever, so I let support know, no response. I then just figured it wasn't worth the hassle so I went to redeem the 1-month... it's for new game pass customers only. So I pointed that out to support. Support essentially said, we need to make it more aware that it's for new customers only, hope you enjoy the controller. So this would be a 4 star product, but customer service is terrible and drops it 2 stars for me. As mentioned, this is better than the Razer by a mile. You will need to take any phone case off, so I'm just going naked with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I would recommend getting a case for this (why Backbone doesn't monetize a case, I have no idea). An external hard drive case will do just fine for this in my opinion.
