I can't believe I just paid $10 for a "book" that's already available for free on the internet at edge dot org. The book title and subtitle are misleading. The book's content is made up of a large group of edge.org contributors answering the questions "What Scientific Concept Would Improve Everybody's Cognitive Toolkit?" The answers are interesting and freely available on the internet at edge.org. But most of the "scientific concepts" provided are not new at all.. in fact they're old as dirt. These range from things like the Pareto Principle to the Double-Blind Experimental Method. Good answers, perhaps, but nothing groundbreaking or new. I'm still kicking myself for 1-clicking this book before looking at it more closely.
