Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

This is now the third review I've written on this chair. They keep disappearing. I don't know if it is because Amazon is choosing to take bad reviews down or if the manufacturer is somehow able to hack into bad reviews. I have been offered money three times to remove my bad reviews. The first time I was offered $25 to remove it. The second time was $30. And the last time it was $50. I didn't accept this, of course, but am including this info here so you understand why this chair gets such a high average rating. OK, so now for the review on the chair itself: 1. The chair is WAY TOO SMALL for many Americans. It says the chair will fit someone 6'1" tall and up to 400 pounds. I am 6 foot and weigh about 210. I do not fit and it isn't even close. When I'm in the Zero Gravity mode, it feels like I'm in some weird fetal position because the leg massager doesn't extend for someone with a 32" inseam. My shoulders don't fit in the chair at all, so I have to put a pillow under my shoulders so that I am pushed forward enough to not hit against the sides of the chair. 2. Related to #1, the rollers are in a very strange position for me. The ones that are intended for my neck and upper back are below my scapulae, as an example. The rollers are positioned for a very small person. 3. The rollers are a bit too strong. I'm a big, muscular guy but the rollers create a 12" x 12" bruise on my lower back the second time I used it. 4. The chair is very cheaply constructed. The pleather it is made out of stretches badly...my chair is only two months old and already looks like it is several years old because of the stretched pleather. 5. The chair has an awful, chemical-based smell to it. I can only imagine the toxic chemicals used in this chair and hate to think what it is doing to my health. 6. When I went to try to return the chair, they wanted $240 to ship and restock it. Just so you know. This is an unethical company that makes an inferior product. DO NOT BUY.
