★★☆☆☆
Not particularly bright. No time-on duration adjustment.
Note that the listing makes copious use of words like bright, led bright, and 30 led bright. Realize that these terms are just advertising hyperbole. On the other hand, you really have to dig and and squint to find any quantitative description of brightness for these Homelife lights. If you have bought an led light bulb recently, their packages include the lumens of the bulb, which is a quantitative measurement, and the color temperature, measured in Kelvins and translated into terms like warm and daylight. No mention of Kelvins here. In fact, asking about color temperature receives a response about the heat generated by the closet light. All this is confusing. It also seems like some of the posted questions and answers are by the seller, asking questions of himself, a known marketing ploy. I base this on the use of English, and I may be incorrect. Disregard the non-quantitative terms in the listing. On the 30 led bright setting, the light produces around 350 lumens. This falls between lumens produced by a 25 and a 40 watt incandescent light bulb. It is matter of semantics, but I do not describe even a 40 watt bulb as bright. Another point is that the light shuts off in about 10 to 15 seconds, unless you keep moving in front of the sensor. So, if your desire is to use several these as under counter lights in a kitchen, you’ll find them switching on and off annoyingly. You can simply bypass the sensor, and leave them on constantly, but they will need frequent removal for recharging.
