Be aware of the cheating on gauge size. In addition to many brands I already have, I ordered 6 rolls of 100ft from 3 different brands (Pyramid, InstallerGear, RCA) on Amazon at the same time. For each brand, I ordered 1 roll of 14 gauge and 1 roll of 12 gauge. When received all of them, I was extremely disappointed with 2 rolls of this Pyramid brand. Both 14 & 12 gauge have VERY THIN insulations comparing to all other 5 brands I own. But that's not the biggest disappointment yet, when I stripped the jackets/insulations off of all 6 rolls, these 2 Pyramid rolls shocked me. The Pyramid 12 gauge (Pyramid RSW12100 12AWG) wire is slightly thinner than the 14 gauge (yes, 14 gauge) of all other 5 brands. The 14 gauge (Pyramid RSW14100 14AWG) wire is also slightly thinner than the 16 gauge of all other 5 brands. I was pissed because I hate to be cheated, and that's what the Pyramid does in my case. Out of all total 6 brands I now own, the MonsterX and the RCA Digital wires are the ones that have the most thickest insulations and the gauge size can also be trusted. If you just want economy/low pricing, don't get this brand, go with the InstallerGear instead.
