These lamps are quite pretty when turned on. They are pretty much exactly as pictured. But my one-star rating isn't on the piece of salt, it's for the electrical cord that comes with it. First, it is not UL listed. That should have been my first clue. I purchased two sets of these lamps and one lamp from each set had a cord/switch that would shut off for no reason. Out of concern that the cord was shorting out, I purchased ($9.99)a UL listed cord, which is of much better quality and now I am enjoying three of the four lamps that I purchased. I contacted the seller regarding the lamps and they have not offered to help out with the fourth lamp that needs a new cord. So my advice is to #1 make sure that the lamps you are purchasing come with UL listed cords and #2, make sure you purchase from a seller who will stand behind what they sell. Other than that, these lamps are beautiful, and promote a very relaxing atmosphere.
