Significant crystallization at 74 degrees - how healthy is it?
I have purchased this product for several months. I Initially liked the product, but now, as you can see from the photo, I am unsure of the quality. Years ago I spoke for hours with a 93 y/o man who had raised bees all his life and I purchased several different types of honey from him - none of them crystalized at all. He indicated during our conversation that the reason honey crystallizes is because the bees are being fed sugar or there is sugar added in some way. Obviously this honey must have sugar added in one way or another. The pic you see is after heating the honey in a microwave for 15 seconds (the bottle was warm). I wish I would have taken a pic before I warmed it. The crystallization was significant even though we keep the temperature in our house at 74 degrees (and heat pours in though our windows making the pantry even warmer). I’m not sure how this can be honey that is beneficial for our health when, in order to get it out of the bottle, I have to unscrew the lid instead of using the opening as it will not squeeze out in addition to having to warm the honey to melt the crystallization enough to get it to roll out as a unit After taking off the lid...
